The 2005 Ford Mustang marks the beginning of the fifth generation for the Ford Mustang and has now been around for over 40 years.
This year’s Ford Mustang features the completely redesigned D2C platform with improved cosmetics for the interior as well as exterior, retaining the Mustangs status as America’s Muscle Car.
The base engine is now a 4.0L V-6 Cast Iron Block producing 210HP 240FTLB of torque which is mated to either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission.
The performance-tuned 2005 Ford Mustang GT features a 4.6L V-8 pushing 300HP and 320FTLB of torque equipped with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. Both engines route power to the rear-wheels which sits the Mustang on 107” wheel-base tires.
